Watching it again, I realized something: once the boat is surfaced, there is no watch crew.

btw In the top right grey box were it says "subscribe" it says "3d-animation des u-film logo-objekt"

This seems to be German and means "3D animation of U-film logo object"

And now that you mention it...the conning tower does not look like any found on the type IX in SHIII......hmm....interesting
