i been looking over the net hard. anyone know where i can find a model on the "cheap?" Even from a crackhead if the price is right.
I want to put it on top of the comp desk/book top and run my current battle/kill flags on it !!!!

they make a type vii and xxi the same size for the same $

Just put the scratch out for the model. Go to a local hobby shop and support it by buying the kit at the price it is worth (I would not go over 100 dollars), the model is very good quality and definitely worth 73 dollars. I am currently building it, as a companion to my 1/72 Type VII C, also from Revell.

i agree with pythos. my models range from 75-400 dollars lol. spending is all apart of the hobby

I paid 95 USD when it first hit the shelves and that was two years ago.

If you are that desperate to spend less, you could try the trumpeter 1/144 gato. She builds up nicely with some after market deck guns.

actually there's one in my model shop in TC
I would be waay over my head though....
