Pipe Smoking Wallpaper

Hi guys !
As a young pipe smoker (17 :yep:), I asked myself if U-Boot's crew smoked onboard...
After a long research on Google, I finally ended on this site: http://centroeu.com/uboote/pictures.html (I'm sure you're a lot to know it ;))
I found 5 photos with crew smoking pipe ! So I took my Panasonic and did some photos of my wooden desk... And here's the result !

See U-Boat ! :arrgh!:Weren't they smoking in Das Boot? Everyone smoked back then. Probably not the best idea when submerged though.

Depends on the ventilation I suppose. I believe current USN policy leaves the issue at the CO's discretion.

I like it, has a good historical feel to it and I like the photos you've chosen. I'd probably like it more if I was as enthusiastic a smoker as yourself, or a smoker at all even. :)

It's amazing how smoking is getting banned everywhere ! Ahhh how I love watching old 40's and 50's films when everybody smoked... :|\\
Cancer is lethal but I think we should let the choice to the ones who want to take their responsibilities... :yep:

Problem is Django, while it may be the smokers choice to smoke, its not necessarily everyone around hims choice to breathe in the same carcinogens.

And then there's the problem of smokers taking their own responsibilities - right up to the point where they get the cancer. Then they sue the tobacco companies.

In Europe, there are labels on cigarettes boxes with SMOKING KILLS.
Well, it's becoming a big smoking debate here... :lol:
