Snaptrap was gravely injured in a motorcycle accident in the beginning of this month. Although his injuries were serious, and from what I read he was in ICU for a while, he was well enough to be discharged from hospital recently.

His brother just posted in the mods forum that Richard (Snaptrap) passed away a few days ago. Before that however he managed to complete the mod he was working on, Silent Fire, which will be uploaded by Ron (Richard's brother).
