Having departed from resupply ship "Thalia", we are now heading back to Wilhelmshaven via known shipping routes, I have, within 2 days of leaving managed to sink a coastal freighter and a large merchant. This should teach the British not to send there ships along the south coast of Spain.
You should recieve further messages of yet more sinkings, and once I dock in port I want the Band to play "Ein Zweil Hoochie Woochie", and have plenty of schnaps on stand-by.

ARGHHHH!!!!!
Goes and hides head under the pillow!

Oops, it's dangerous to compete with the great Balz!
Nevertheless, nice job on those sinkings

Have just sunk yet another merchant vessel, this time an Ore Carrier. If I keep up at this rate, it will put the British out of the war in no time, and I shall be able to retire to a nice sunny place. In addtion to my previous requests, I shall require several Iron crosses for my crew, to be handed out by Herr Doenitz himself.
All is going well, apart form one of my Type Ge-7a's prematurely detonated, thus denying me another kill. I suggest that the Torpedo Directive get this problem fixed before I reach home.
I shall report again when i've sunk more vessels, or am nearing home port.

He's not trying to compete with Balz, he's showing his respect by emulating him. Balz, knowing he's the greatest, will likely be pleased.
BdU, on the other hand, has multiplying headaches.:rotfl:

Great fun though, with two Balz's around, we'll win the war in no-time! :rotfl:

Sunk yet antoher Large Merchant on the 27th of March, then the weather got increasingly worse, cutting short my hunitng activity. This did not deter me, as it allowed me to sial around the northern coast of Scotland without the fear of been attacked. The weather improved today and within hours of it clearing, an Ore Carrier was spotted by my watch crew and was promplty sunk, although I had to risk my crew and finish it off with the deck gun. This porved to be a bad omen as I was attacked by a lone Swordfish torpedo bomber, and suffered serious damage and the loss of my flak gunner.
This has not detered me, as I have now sunk 5 merchants for 31901 GRT and am making best speed for home.
Further to my previous requests, I now ask for the command of a Type IX U-boat so I can attakc more shipping, as I feel my current boat is limiting my hunting abilities.

It is good to see Kaleuns trying to emulate my glorious deeds and follow my superb example of a true Teutonic hero.
When you arrive in Willi, kindly tell Doenitz to polish some oak leaves and swords for my return to base.

Balz, I was unable to complete your request, as once I returned to Willi and made repairs, I was ordered to help in the Norwegian Operation by harrasing enemy forces. This shall not take me too long, and once done I shall see Doenitz myself to make you request, and my request for a Type IX/B.
