This day started as any other day, getting crew up from their bunks, waving to the people on the dock when leaving, patrolling the sea etc, etc.
After passing couple of (axis)allied convoys,(and sinking lone merchant ship) I eventually came to small, 2 ship's convoy. One big-ass troop transport & Black V&'s class escorting it.

I ordered to go periscope depth, I was rather bored so I ordered my weapon officer to fire 3 torp's salvo on the troop transport.
(note that the 1th tube hasn't still loaded for some reason after sinking lone merc)
Seconds passes as I wait for the first impact.
"The first torpedo should hit any moment now" I said.
But after a moments of waiting, nothing. The first one missed.
After waiting couple of seconds the other 2 hit the target, 1 to the engineroom and the second couple of meters away from it.
It knocked it's engines out, leaving it as sitting duck.
Now the escort after witnessing this blasphemy started turning on my direction at full speed.
I wasn't at the mood of playing cat & mouse, so I turned my ass on the bastard and farted one eel towards it. Hoping it to hit of course.

And it hit, right in the middle of the ship. Instant kill.
After looking around with the scope, I noticed the Transport ship slowly going deeper by it's bow.
I moved away from it as it sunk, continuing with my patrol route.
I took a little trip to the Pantelleria island. I must say that the Italians are pussies, leaving their mighty battleships stay on the docks. Even when they are just couple of miles away from enemy's shipping route, full of juicy targets.
And like to ratify this fact, my watch officer spotted lone enemy merchant, just 45 Km's away from Pantelleria island where one of the Italian battleships is located.

And from this point, things went weird.
"Periscope Depth herr Kaleun?" asked my officer.
"Nah" I said
"Let's give some practise for our gunboys, they haven't get to fire with the deckgun for while"
As the guncrew started to fire, the watch officer yeld "Airplane spotted!"
As I looked on the map, I noticed there were more of them coming, 3 Ju88 and 2 coming towards me.

And it looks like the brit' hurricanes were chased by ju88's

After couple of seconds of confuse, I ordered the crew to man the AA's.
The Hurricanes flied over me, the Ju88's still chasing them, until they spotted the ship I was firing.
The Ju88's proceed to bomb the poor fella who was already damaged by my deckgun fire.
The first one starts the attack, but unfortunaly misses.

As we can see, the bombs were badly aimed with this one too.

If the bombs would have hit even couple of meters closer, then they would have damaged the ship even a bit. But now they were just waste of ammunination

As the Ju88's were out of bombs, they proceed to attack the ship with it's Mg's, after couple of attack runs they turn towards home.
And just before they fly out of view, one of the chased Hurricane's flies towards me, starting it's attack run.

After couple of attempts to shoot it down, I dive and stay at 50 meters for something like 2-7 hrs.
On the next morning, I got a sound contact, DD moving toward's tobruk.
But when looking at the event camera I saw something strange.

See this? This spam of explosions almost crashed my computer. This spot 'spawned' a bunch of explosions every 2th second. I don't know is it a bug of the Rb's SH4 effects to SH3 mod. I tried to sink this DD with 1 one eel, but it missed. Probaly when the torp exploded it caused this spam of explosions.
But anyway
I went home and drinked all the bars empty of drinks on the dock, and burned all of them down. Man, the soldiers and sailors of Salomo were pissed off.
