Umm, no; even GWX didn't get much more than 2000 (still an impressive number).
6,738 was all the Dutch folks coming to pay their respects to Abraham's passing. It was much remarked on at the time.

98 as I write. That's not too terribly low for ACTIVE members. At this same time there are 1024 online total. That was true of the 6738 number above. If I remember rightly there have never been more than about 300 active registered members viewing at once, and that probably was during the GWX release; that or SH4.

Yep, we have a whole lot of stowaways. They look, but never register, never post, and we'll never know who they are.
Kind of creepy, huh?
Raptor1

Stowaway demographics show that approximately:
80% are petty criminals
10% are bank robbers
5% are known murderers
5% are mobsters
30% are T-H-E-M
It makes complete sense!

Maybe the "Great Subsim Fire" wasn't an accident, don't you think?
Besides, 93 is better than 54...

It's summer, so a lot of people go on vacation and outdoors. Also, we're at a lull in SubSim news, as SHIV has been completed, a lot of mods are still in the development phase, and no new submarine simulations are currently on the horizon. With all of the SHIV and GWX news, we were accustomed to seeing 5 or 6 thousand perusing the boards. This was, acutally, unusual even for SubSim.
Still, despite the amount of traffic, we typically only have around 100 'regulars' who actually post on SubSim with any frequency. Thus, the actual post traffic has not slowed to any significant degree.
