What do these mean? Is it information that only a few worthy subsimmers are privy to or is it an in-joke that I came along too late to get?:hmm:

Most serious subsimmers hate the red triangle that designated targets, I believe starting with SH1? The thinking is that real sub captains didn't have a red "target locked on" triangle floating below the target. It definitely breaks immersion, IMO.

PDThey should add that damn orange sub marker too from SHII and SHIV! Its the first file I modify (with the delete button!) upon installation!

How do you get rid of the accuracy triangle? I admit to using auto-targetting, but it would be nice to not have the on-screen help.

You can not unless you beef up your realism and plot it yourself.

SH3 or SH2?
In SH2 it can not be removed.
In SH3 it goes when you use manual targeting.
