Hi, i'm currently using version 1.2, and i'm surprised about propellers, their are turning the wrong way!
See the picture, i'm running forward, and the visible propeller is rotating counter-clockwise (looking it from behind), how did they miss something like that, it is corrected in later patchs? i also saw it in other ships

The other problem that has me infuriated is that a serie of 4 savegames result in game crashing when i want to load them, all are from career mode and i sunk a yamato battleship, all the savegames that i saved afterwards don't work =(
I wouldn't get another chance like that, is there anything i can try?

A fix is available, and a mod (by another modder) with the fix will be ready soon. I'm sure some other mods will get this fix in time as well.

Oh, and btw, you should patch up your game to 1.4...

Make sure you are in port (iow. finished a mission) before patching... I don't recall if the 1.4 patch renders old save games incompatible. Maybe the readme has info regarding this.

I'm in midway port, but base is pearl harbor, i can't get to pearl because i can't load the savegame. But i'm in "port" mode nonetheless. Would that work?, i can't believe that last 4 savegames make the sim crash -_-
That yamato wasn't easy to sunk

You have to complete the mission, so yeah, you have to be in your home base port. This is also true when adding or removing mods. It is always recommended to be in port when making changes to the game/install, because it can cause problems to savegames.

I'm fried!
Funny thing is that i didn't touch anything, i just saved, exited game, check mail, go back and got damned.
btw: nice prop fix, i've just saw the video
You must not have been at your home part when you upgraded, Or you relied on your own saved game and not the auto-generated home port save. This auto save is generated when you enter the home port office room after docking. Only the auto-save will load after an upgrade. This is not a bug. The reason this is here is because upgrades intensly modify the patrol game logic and data, so the game breaks when trying to resume play from inside a mission.

It has happened to me with some of the earlier patches that save games got corrupted for no reason, but since 1.3 or 1.4 (not sure which) had no more problems.
