Sound about right for the numbers.

Music is too expensive. That's my reason for piracy and P2P and what have you.

I might want one specific song, but I don't want the entire album. That's the problem with buying from stores. You're paying $15 or even $23 bucks for a CD that might only have ONE song that you really like. Not worth it, and I don't buy from Amazon (where you CAN buy one individual song) or iTunes because Amazon has swindled money from me in the past and iTunes... is from accursed APPLE!!!:damn:

Problem is, you can't buy everything no matter what amount of money you have. That is my issue. However, nothing sounds better than the original. MP3 sucks.

I use P2P to download out of print game books (Role playing games and other) and rarely reccord albums that are long out of print. Also, I collect old DOS games (Most that I had actually purchased in the past). The stuff I'm downloading is usually at least 15-20 years old that thankfully someone scanned so I can archive it. I have pretty much a museum of old role playing game books on DVD. Most of those games are no longer around and are never going to see the light of day ever again and the ones that ARE still around are in their printed 9th or 10th edition so.. they aren't going to be doing anything with their old game from 15-20 years ago as the system is antiquated.

Someone has to preserve these things. That's what I'm seeing myself doing. I carefully archive EVERYTHING.

According to original copyright law, you had 15 years on something till it hit the public domain. What happened to this actually? Or yeah, they tied it till a persons death eventually, and then they went ahead and made the undyable corporate entity so public domain will never exist again.

I'm most likely going to get a slap for saying this.:damn: I use P2P for sampling or testing a product before I will invest my real hard earned cash. If I like it I will then go buy it. If I don't well I didn't loose a cent.

I've learnt the hard way buying many softwares in the past and were buggy or were not quite finished product off the shelves. Also many movies trailers that looked good on TV but were really bad when watched in the movies.

I know the media cartels is loosing big dollars but hey. Stop putting out garbage. I don't like waisting my money because there products are full of bull.

You guys give me what I want and I would be happy to give you http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff110/WolfeXhunter/avatar_6439.gif.

I dont use iTunes, because the downloads are only 128kbps which is absolute ****E, I have mine at the highest setting I can get it as to get the same sound quality as a CD (or near as damnnit). People are just fed up of being ripped off just to line the pockets of the music companies, its stupid how much you used to pay for an album in HMV and the like. Even now theyve dropped their prices somewhat its still absurd to be paying so much for music.

I tried Itunes once and that was enough to get me to uninstall it, Neighbour brought his son an ipod and asked me if i could copy his sons music cds to the ipod for him, no problem. I load up this cd that came with the ipod which recommends i install Itunes so i did and then it refuses to copy the music to the ipod! Its just transfering his music cds which he brought to the fecking ipod player which he brought yet itunes screams no! It then tries to get me to pay for songs that already came of the bloody cds!:nope: And they wonder why music copying is rampant!

Hmmm, don't know what you did but I have no problems uploading to my iPod. Perhaps you needed to update the firmware on the player? I actually prefer iTunes a lot over MS's heap o' crap.
