Complacency is being replaced by Ingenuity as higher prices on oil continue
to subject the out-dated and inefficient internal combustion engine to go the
way of the tube in electronic systems.....

JIMTubes are the only way to go for stereo equipment. Still! Especially for amps designed to produce highs! Very warm feeling that can't be produced with transistors.

I saw it on tv today on a 1/2 hr car show.

Just my way of saying that engines (like tubes) will be used for speciality stuff
like racing and setting records. Everyday transportation can get by without them.
But someday, gravity-well technology will eventually replace them too....

Not only that, but in an around-town vehicle that's all you need. Long distance travel? It'll come.

I need to head to the grocery store right now - I do not need a care with 50 miles! I need one that will get me there for a total of less than 5 miles! Crap, and who says I can't use the local drinking fountain to get me home anyway? hahahahaha! :D :p
