SH4 wont work

Hi Guys

I have been away from SH4 for a while, mainly because my old PC could hardly handle it

My new PC
Vista 32bit
Quad 6600
8800GT video card
3gb ram
1tb hard drive
all in a dell machine.

My problem:-

Installed SH4 from the box, ran the exe I got the intro movie and then when it went on to the first splash screen all I got was the music and a blank screen.

I then patched up to 1.4, ran the sim and got the same response.

can someone help

It's been posted elsewhere but, I think yu have to install it in another place besides C:/ Program files.

I gather it's a Vista thing.

Wait for more posts to be sure.

Hiya,

Goto the nvidia control panel

Change the settings to let the 3d application decide

Load up SH and then config settings etc

Exit SH

Set nvidia control panel options with AA etc etc

Game now works


Seems 1st initial run you have to leave drivers on idiot/easy/simple mode for the game to pick settings up

After an exit you can change video settings and the games fine
