Estonian storm kit.

Case of beer.
Couple of friends.
One or two chicken, plucked and gutted.
Salt and other spices.

With all of that head into the nearby wood,s grill the chicken on an open fire and drink beer while talking about what ever subject comes up. As you can probably tell we get pansie storms out here, the last big one was a couple of years back, withnessed it from my apartment window, uprooted some trees in the cementary surrounding the chuch, fliped a few cars and after a roofing tile flew into my room window I decided to go into a room where the window was not facing in the direction where the wind was coming from.

Our weather is pretty wussy compared to US weather, even winters are getting warmer these days. Worst storm in my lifetime only removed some roofing from our house and threw it to the neighbours yard.

Tornado Check-list:

Clean underwear.

You should be able to pick up anything else you need just by following the storm path.

There are three things you need on the list:

A car that runs and is dependable.
A full tank of gas.
Map of the evacuation route.

After a tornado, you'll find the car in the storm path :yep:.

The mayor of New Orleans pretty much cacked himself on television. Nothing like a "This is the storm of the century" to keep people calm :hmm:

In my town, we have a slightly different preparation kit for October and/or Spring:

*Strong arms (to get everything upstairs)
*Something that floats

One of my more militant scary co-workers has his own survival kit.

A handgun with plenty of ammo.

He just needs then to find someone who has already taken the time and expense of getting a nice survival kit ready.

He says that with that he can just take someone else's survival supplies for free.

The really disturbing thing is that I don't think he is joking. :nope:

Remind me to add a sawed off shotgun to my survival kit list.:hmm:
