SH3 Commsnder error

Can anyone tell me what it going on here?

Also experiencing a ship error - 1939 willhelmshaven battleship has no main gun turrets.

Everything is more or less a clean install at the moment.
Any ideas would be great.

The ship with missing turrets is supposed to be like that,it didn't have them fitted until later,the commander problem I don't know:hmm:but someone on here will:up:

You need to drop the cfg. file from the "GWX_2.1config_4_SH3Cmder3.0 fix" folder into the config folder inside your SH3 Commander file.

That BB will more than likely be the Tirpitz...her guns weren't fitted until early 41.

I did suspect something like that, but wasn't sure.


As for the SH3 Commander files, I currently have the following:

Menu variable.txt (eng/ger/fr)
randomised events.cfg
ship displacements.cfg
ship names.cfg
u-boat availability.cfg

I do have a backup folder in the SH3 Commander folder, listed as 'backup2.1Cfg' - this appears to contain all of the files posted in the above screen shot.
I'm sure these were removed/backed up as part of the installation, though I could be wrong.
I'm guessing just copy the missing file into my current .cfg folder 'names_places.lst' and see what happens...
Failing that, I've had a look forGWX_2.1config_4_SH3Cmder3.0 fix and have drawn a blank with the forum search. Can anyone post me a link please?

hmmm, I have the following file: GWX_2.1_Cfg_4_SH3Cmdr3.0.7z from the GWX site already and it doesn't include a 'names_places.lst', just the ones I previously mentioned. :-?

Am confused now, as the 'new files' for SH3 Commander to be compatible with GWX 2.1 are the ones I have listed from the above named .7zip file...

hmmm, still none the wiser.
Looks like my new career will be scrapped in favour of a complete reinstall of SH, patches, gwx 2.1, and whatever the latest version of SH3 commander is according to the downloads hosted by wolfhunter.
I'm tired of messing about with filtering compatible mods and programs. :dead:
