Pause Key Command Not Working

My in game "Pause" key command (the Backspace key) stopped working. All other key commands are still fine. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution? Thanks.

Assuming you haven't modified the commands file yourself, it's likely a mod you've installed. Also, the numpad +- keys do the same thing so check to see if the - key still pauses the sim.

The numpad + - keys do work and if I pause the game using the - key, I then can release the pause with either the - key or the Backspace key. For some reason, I just cannot pause the game using the Backspace key (I can live with it this way). Also, I do have the TMO and RSRDC mods installed. Thanks.

TMO makes the Backspace key take TC back down to 1x. This is actually a VERY nice feature, in my opinion. I rarely used the pause button to actually pause the game anyway. I usually just press Esc.

You can go into the commands.cfg file and delete the ";" in front of the Backspace command in the first set of command descriptions section on the one that addresses pausing the game.
