the little ring of immersion kill

I recently reloaded SH4 for a fresh install.

Suddenly, the old indicator pops up on the surface that shows the position of your sub underwater appeared.

The little ring with the arrow showing your heading.

I've forgotten, how do you get rid of this thing?

PE changes the color of the ring from orange to a purpleish color. Disable PE with JSGME, then go into the main PE folder. Go to Data/Misc/Umark.dds and delete it.

No modding required, just click Ctrl+Numpad Delete to switch it on and off.
