By the way nothing sucks in GWX 2.1 (the deck gun fires nuclear explosives i think hehehe his destructive power on a ship is awesome) not very realistic

Poland is the very first enemy. You can sink Polish ships starting 1 September 1939. All others must wait a few days. Or years.

Hi, I seem to remember on my first patrol which started in Aug '39 I received a radio message saying the Germany and Poland were at war from 1st Sept.

I think Polish ships are fair game. One of them attacked me while it was escorting a neutral convoy in early Sept. I was just minding my own business, doing a little fishing and sunbathing when he got all nasty.
