I have found myself using Mikhayl's S-Boot 1.0 mod more and more over the U-boats. There is nothing like spotting a ship and setting up an attack run. Turning towards it and pushing the throttle to flank speed as gunfire flies over your head and shells splash the water all around you. You release your eels at less then 1000m and hit a hard 180 turn and rush away while firing your rear cannon at the ship.

And if you attack a convoy there is nothing like playing hide and seek with the DD's as you zig zag between the freighters while blasting away with your cannons! :arrgh!:

Yes,

I still play the S-boote mod. Great fun.

Haven't tried mixing it with a convoy yet. But I do like shooting up the little tiddlers as well as finishing off bigger prey. As you only have 4 torpedoes, I only use one per big ship and the ntry to finish off with the 3.7.

Just switched to GW2.1 for the mod. Even then I still have hitting power with the cannons.

Hate to think what happens when the merchants get armed. It tricky to crash dive a S-Boote
