no red light in conning tower?

hello all. i have a problem, and wondering if anyone has the same. at night, the red light never turns on in the conning tower. the control room is red, but the CT is still white light. any ideas to switch it to red at night? uboat missions only, if i use mods or stock, the problem still remains.:-?
