GWX 2.0 periscope depth too soon ?

For te last few nites .... everytime I approached a convey or even a single
DD .. watch officer order to periscope depth .... even at a range 4500m ..
it's tough toggling between periscope depth --> to surface the boat.
any ideas ..

this might have something to do with the option "set as default action" that appears when sighting aircraft/ships etc

not sure how to undo it

"Go to Periscope Depth" is set as the default action.

Next time you start the game, when your patrol has loaded, hit the escape button, and go to "Reset Defaults" in the Options menu.

This will bring back the screen that knocks you out of TC and prompts for action.

solution ... avoid single malt while on patrol lol lol
