Various German media reported on the street battles that unfortunately has become a tradton in german metropoles on 1st of May, especially in Berlin.

The police chief of Berlin coming under directly aimed attack by vandals, his bodyguards having been seconds away from drawing their weapons.

The police chief of Hamburg saying that the massive police actions were the onyl thing that prevented several acts of murder and several peoples' life ending on the streets.

I would arrest them by the many hundreds, and lock them away for years, and force them to heavy labour - just to make them do something reasonable in their lives, for a change. will not happen, yeah, sure, I know - but one can dream once in a while, or not?!

Every stone being thrown is an act of attempted murder. And as such the offenders should be sentenced: attempted murder. the moment the stone leaves your hand, flying high, you try to kill, you will to kill, you accept to kill. And you know it.

Meanwhile in Hertfordshire, the Aldbury Morrismen are up before Sunrise to greet the dawn with a Morris Dance or two before repairing to the local hostelry:D

I caught myself wondering yesterday, while grumbling over how the stores were closed, why there's only a right-wing day and not a left-wing day.

There should be a day when all the pickup dealers, churches and gun stores were closed and disgruntled Republicans could get in their pickup trucks and protest gun control, gay marriage, Jesus being kicked out of school and Democrats wanting a pull-out of Iraq.

The lack of a Disgruntled Right-Winger Day is discrimination!
