Despite your birthday being over, still many good wishes and congratulations!
And...I couldn't miss the talk about flashing blades and more importantly: heaving breasts!
So without further ado, let me ask the question: what/who is Sharpe? :hmm:
(Yes, I AM too lazy to Google that, thank you...)

Thanks Flag!
That looks like an interesting set. I never heard of Sharpe before, to be honest, but it looks very nice. Perhaps I'll get my own set. :hmm:

Yesterday was my birthday also! Sadly enough, I'm not 27 or even close to it. Just hit 51. Doesn't that put me close to the Sailor Steve generation? :yep:

Oh, and happy birthday to you, too.

Books? Books? They're soooo last millenium... ;)
No seriously, I love books. I'm going on a quick holiday next week, and I'm taking some with me, one is a biography of a certain mr. A. H., former dictator of Nazi-Germany, which I have been dying to start reading.
Books have only one problem, imho...they take up too much space. (Or I have too many...) :hmm:

you're right. Cornwells adventures are, imo, better in the mind than in the movies.
its rare you get the full benefit from film, and yet Das Boot works well in both - though i loved the book better, i quite litterally couldnt put it down - shame his other works are'nt translated into english - i'd geared myself up for them too.
edit: the film 2001 a space oddysey. better than the book
