HELP!!!

I've finally bought SH4, I get it all patched up and go to load it..it goes through the movies quite nicely..but when it gets to the main UI it black screens..wth..

I tried disabling antialiasing (nvidia card) and still nada so I turned off the aniso as well still nada..I can't get into it to set anything up. I tried usin the main config..nada

I dunno what to do

Have you loaded the latest video drivers? Running any programs in the background? Would help if you posted system specs-

If you are patched to at least 1.4 and have not installed in any mods, my guess would be to try running the exe. (the SH4 icon) as administrator. If you are not sure how to do this, right click and select "Run as Administrator". If this is not your problem, we will need more info in order to help. BTW, Welcome to Subsim!

One more thing...make you installed the DirectX 9 runtime. If you are not sure, put the disk in and install it. Many people think it's unnecessary. This is also a common error.

I figured it out..the latest drivers won't run a specific profile apparently..nhancer took care of it.

Runnin an intel dual core with 2 gig ram and a nvidia 7300 le which needs to be upgraded LOL and windows vista the 7300 is gonna have to go so I can at least get some frame rates..right now the frame rates suck..if someone is runnin this card and knows some good settings for SH4 I'd be more than happy to to hear em.
