A question that perhaps someone could answer for me.

When SHIV was released I took a hiatus like some others from SHII.
I had had so much enjoyment playing III but at that time I was ready for new encounters in the Pacific.
Recently I decided to re install, and added the newest Grey Wolves Addon.
All seems to be working fine, however I'm finding it a little quiet out in both the North and South Atlantic.
I've sailed to some of my favorite ambush areas where I had a great deal of success in the past but with very little success. Now I'm starting to think I have done something wrong, or not installed something properly.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? If they think they might know, perhaps they can tell me where in the game files I might look to rectify this.
Its getting cold and lonley out there, and awfully embarrassing.
I have to wait until nightfall before slipping back to the pens in St Nazaire with a full load of torps.

Blame it on Dept. GWX of the British Admiralty.

The old routes like Tanker Alley been scatered around, so you need to do more perpendicular patrols of the good areas.

I used to sit on a hot spot and let them come to me. It is more realistic now.

Quiet you say ?
Pay a visit to these friendly guys patrolling at the south of Spain, around a very beautiful and pleasant harbour called Gibraltar, mate ! :|\\
But watch out, because if you get detected they will not stay kind. :88)

Alex,I've been forbidden to ever go anywhere near the Straights of Gibralter. It isn't a very nice place.
Thanks Brag,I'll give that a try.
I was sure this had something to do with GWX.

The convoy routes also change with the season in GWX. Winter= routes farther South. Summer= routes farther North.:yep:
