25th April 2008 marks the 93rd commemoration of the landings at ANZAC cove in Gallipoli.

Last night ABC1 screened Gallipoli Submarine, the story of the search and survey of the wreck of AE2 the RAN submarine sunk in action in the Dardnelles straight in 1915.

Quite a story: http://www.abc.net.au/tv/guide/netw/200804/programs/DO0716V001D24042008T203000.htm

Yep, and I didn't miss this one. :smug:

I must admit that I spent most of today watching war docos on various Foxtel channels. Sent my wife nuts, LOL!

Yep, marched through Brisbane, and then went out with my mates, plenty of Bundy Rum and telling heaps of stories about our deployments overseas, as the hours past and got longer in the night so did our stories [plenty of gravy added]; heaps of man-hugging, patting on the back and tears, in the end we all felt on top of the world.

Lest We Forget ;)
