A congressional candidate is defending his speech to a group celebrating the anniversary of Adolf Hitler's birth, saying he appeared simply because he was asked.
Oh wow :rotfl:

Priceless. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Something tells me that this guy will remain nothing more than a Republican candidate and get elected by nobody.

The guy says, ""My primary purpose is to educate and inform". I think that it is he who requires education. :roll:

Another contender for the Darwin awards. :yep:

The sad truth is anyone can call themselves a Republican, or a Democrat, and neither party can do anything to stop them.

Yeah, it's one of the problems with such a system. Same as how anyone can declare support for a candidate and you can't stop them.

I doubt this story would be any different were it a Democrat. "Jackass" fills all necessary boxes :P

But let's face it, he's less likely to be a democrat in this specific situation

"I'll speak before any group that invites me," Zirkle said Monday. "I've spoken on an African-American radio station in Atlanta."

"Yeah, I'll talk to any group whose name starts with 'N'. No wait, I mean..."

Well, there goes the black vote. What a moron.

I love how he tries to put nazis and blacks on the same level, oh well.

Another story that fits with the thread title http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7364464.stm

Uf, in order to get a Darwin he must first commit suicide in an entertaining, stupid way. ;)

From the discusion on the same page;

" You asked, "How is Bush any different then Hitler?"

A: Hitler was a good public speaker.

Hitler was supposedly a damn near hypnotic speaker,at least in his early days as a politician. Without Hitler the Nazi party would have just been a footnote in history.
