Well Israel is only "mostly" our ally.

They have their national interests just like everyone else. They collect and recruit just like everyone else.

We have to guard against Israeli espionage just like we need to guard against everyone else's.

Thats how the world goes around.

However, we do need to start shooting these spies :yep:

I would be interested to hear Avon Lady's justification for this story, the Larry Franklin/AIPAC spying incident as well as the Pollard case. As American citizens who spied for a foreign power, they should be imprisoned for life with no parole. Technically, this guy could be declared an enemy combatant and rendered to Egypt for interrogation under the laws we have now. I DO know that Israel hunted down that nuclear scientist who spilled the beans about their nuclear weapons program and kidnapped him back to Israel where he rots in an Israeli prison to this day. So this guy, Franklin and Pollard should stay in jail just as long as they keep their scientist in the slam.

All that said, I do like Lagger's sig. As an Oakland Raider fan from the 1960's who passed my 1967 Super Bowl II Raider hat to my son-in-law, I am a proud member of the Raider Nation. Now if they could only remember Al Davis' mantra,"Just win, Baby!", they might not suck this season.

The case of Vanunu is an interesting one. On one hand I disagree with his treatment and the terms of his parole, but on the other hand, he does keep violating his parole.

So would i but I think she got tired of having to defend her country against pretty much non stop attacks here as she never returned after her temp ban was lifted.

Are you kidding? Everyone spies on everyone else in the world (with the exception of an inner circle consisting of the US and Britain, Canada, and Australia). If you don't think that there are US spies in Israel and elsewhere around the world, you're delusional. Hell, the US and France spy on one another. This is normal intelligence behavior (I just took a class on this stuff taught by an officer-in-residence of the CIA).

Edit - I doubt AL left the forum because she was tired of defending Israel. Some people just don't take well to correction/warning.

I actually don't have any problem with the Jews. I like their hairstyles.:up: It's just a little Something Awful joke. If you look on the woman's arm, also, you'll notice a red banner (it's intended to be a Nazi armpatch).
