Are there mines out there

been playing silent hunter 4 now for about eight months now and i still havent seen any underwater mines.
thay would look great in my saved pictures of sh4 so can any one tell me the location of some.

The mine fields are in the stock game. If you have the map that came with the game.
Look at the legend and it tells you the different colors for the different years of the war. Fields are mostly around Japan, it is located in the lower right corner.

Also in Trigger Maru, Ducimus increased the density of the mine fields, the stock fields are not very dense.
