I remember reading about a fix for this a while ago but can't find it anywhere.

Using AA I get horrible shimmering of wires and bars etc along with black flashing artifacts on the horizon using the 16km mod. I was wondering if any of you had the fix memorized? I'm planning on installing 2.1 tomorrow and want everything perfect first time :D.

Flashing artifacts on horizon were fixed with GWX2.1 (IMHO)

Thats good news. But I believe the issue with shimmering (which makes the game damned right ugly especially at night) is a driver bug. I can't find the fix though :cry:.

The shimmering issue is a prob with the "Acht Acht":lol:...sry, the 8800GTS series...I believe so. You´re right, there once was a patch outside somewhere, but I can´t remember where, sry :oops:

The solution for the artifact-problem is described in the GWX manual I think.

Edit : did you spent a little time in your driver configuration menu and test a little bit ? Maybe the solution is hiding there.......:hmm:
