State Guard interview in the morning...

Im going in to discuss the State guard with a recruter in the morning, im already on bord with this but it is mostly for Dad (CMSgt USAF RET.), whom wants me not to inlist and that the Officer route is the only course for me (I agree with this but It would only be until I could get an ROTC scholarship with someone). Hopefully he'll be ok with it and within the week I could be signed up. Anyone have any 'State Guard' Experiance/and/or/ Service?

No such thing as the "State Guard". You mean the "National Guard", right?
