Probably because most of the kids now don't know , Who he is , What he did , Or could give a ratsass anyways.

I see two Americans lamenting the state of today's youth, but neither one of you pointed out this date. It took a young Briton to do it.
I'm not exempting myself; I didn't think about it either. But I see no reason to point the finger at others when we didn't remember it ourselves.

Oh stop with it already! You think there should be some commemoration on the anniversary of the death of every notable who died more than 100 years ago? There wouldn't be any time left in the news slots for things that are happening today!

Didn't a group of eminent historians agree that Lincoln was the greatest US president ever a few years ago. IIRC think Washington came in second and FDR third.
I have to say I agree with them.:up:
