I have books on the Roman Empire including the classic Decline and Fall by Gibbon.
None on the Roman army through the years. Would like a good one with decent graphics and well researched text.
Any ideas?
Seems like you got interested too. Having been looking for a book about myself too. Give me a shout if you find any good ones. ;)

Will do.
Thing with RTW is that I play it for an hour at a tiem adn even though I am learning on easy level I am so worried I'll screw up.
I'm trying to build economic buildings first but know I have to build the war making things too. I'm trying th tactic of using one city as the econmic hub and others too for that and then a few cities will be military camps.

On the fiction side, try Simon Scarrow's series, which starts with Under the Eagle.
Just came upon this thread at Europa Barbarorum's forums, might help you find some reading.
