Hello everyone,

Am new to SHIII and GWX and enjoying it tremendously.

Now on mission 6 of my career (March 20th 1940 )and right after leaving Kiel en route to AM53 i get a message to go to Romsdal to help out. Thanks to Google I discovered that Romsdal is near Molde so am on my way.

However, my Mission orders still say patrol grid AM53. What does GWX expect me to do? And what do i do to get mission complete status and renown? Go to Molde, hang around and then go to my grid?

Thanks for any insights.

Saw

The radio message is there for colour only. You can still go there but there won't be anything much to do once you do unless you get lucky and intercept enemy shipping.

I normally ignore most of the radio traffic other than contact reports that you receive relating to actual traffic in game.

I like to immerse myself by following the interesting ones like "No passenger liners" and "No French ships", but I knew they were for immersion only. One time I was one of the six u-boats ordered to patrol north of Iceland.

Boring...

"Be More Agressive". :know:

Welcom aboard. You can ignore most message traffic except the locations of the milk cows.

There are some messages about real activity in GWX. The ones regarding Operation Weserübung, for example.

Best to look at the scripted events in the GWX manual and mark the dates so you know what messages are meaningful and what ones are completely meaningless.

Welcome and sink every damn one of them all. :arrgh!:

Even stinking neutrals slipping in to enemy ports give them hell.
