Now THIS is innovative: "After much experimentation I found that using a red “Sharpie” permanent marker pen made by Sanford works well as a heat indicator. Draw lines on both sides of the aluminum. Use a brush flame butane torch and slowly head both sides. The lines will turn brown and disappear completely. At that point it is properly annealed."
I understand now why lust was considered a mortal sin. Damn, but I would like to own one of those!

I would like my mind and hands to be talented enough to create my own. Quite a piece of work these are. He has every detail in aluminum.

I can already tell I don't have the patience to fit all those parts together as a hobby. Sure it looks pretty but it's not like I can take it outside, crank the engine and get it to fly. But very impressive work by this craftsman.

I can already tell I don't have the patience to fit all those parts together as a hobby. Sure it looks pretty but it's not like I can take it outside, crank the engine and get it to fly. But very impressive work by this craftsman.
If I had one of these, I'd be too afraid to let it off the ground. God. Friiiiickin' amazing.
