Does anyone have a good link/resource for real world navigation? I'm intrigued about how navigation was done before the advent of GPS, INS, etc. Obviously, I'm no sailor--but I'd like to learn/study the basics/fundamentals! :sunny:

Dutton's Navigation and Piloting... http://www.landfallnav.com/-bh023.html
now titled Dutton's Nautical Navigation.
I still have a copy of the 13th Edition (circa 1977). Best source I've ever found to teach both classcal and tech-based navigation.
