Ping Error

copied from multiplayer section due to increased frustration!

Trying to create a game online and drawing a frustrating blank. Both me and my friend get an error message and no ping is listed when we try to set up our own games. We can join others no problem.

The error mentions firewalls, but we've tried all methods of getting around this with no success... any advice?

We're both running 1.4 by the way.

Did you try port forwarding in your router?

(BTW: I never played SH3 online)

Make sure these ports are forwarded in both your routers:

17997-18003 in both TCP/UDP

Will most likely fix your problem.
