The first dramatic pictures of have been released by the search team that found the wrecks of the lost Australian warship HMAS Sydney and the German raider Kormoran.

Impressive.Eh yes, If remember right, the "Kormoran" was a so 1000 m at the moment of open fire against the "Sydney", a lot of Australian sailors were at this moment in the railings looking the "inocent" Holland steamer "Straat Malakka" and the Germans had also sighted many officers at the bridge of the Australian cruiser(one of the first hits was exactly in this point).

Peace to his souls.

The Korman fired at the HMAS Sydney at "point blank range", which was about 1100yds (if i remember correctly).

Its good news that shes been found, so it can be officially marked as a war grave.
