Cannot End Mission

Hello
Am I victim of a bug ,
1)I have fulfill the 3 rd. mission , and when I try to end it ; I dont have the option to the menu enlightened ... i can only resupply or delay ; but cannot go further
What should I do ?

2) Radar & Sonar are not usable during missions

Need some information about what version of the game you're running, the date, and what you mean by "mission". Are you in a campaign, or is this one of the war patrols or single missions? It sounds to me as if you are not at your home port. If you're playing a career and are based in the early war from the South Pacific, your home port changes sometimes. At friendly ports other than home ports all you can do is refit. I don't know which patch added this to it, but at least 1.4 marks the home port with a tilted anchor, so look at your nav map. You have to be at your home port to end it.

Second, what boat are you in? Hydrophones (passive sonar) is only usable at periscope depth, and I don't know if all the fleet boats have active sonar at all. The radar screens in the conning tower are both for surface search radar, which you only can get at some point in 1942 or later. Many of the boats get air search radar earlier, but it's not controlled by you. The air search radar is always on, and has no display screen.

This happened to me as well in mission 6. I went back to my designated home port and was unable to activate the DOCK command. I ended up deleting the entire game and re-installing. My verison is 1.3. I read that there is a 1.4 and a 1.5 out there. Could some one please tell me where I can find it. Tnx in advance.

1.5 I found out is the u-boat expansion thing, I'll probably pick it up after I finish my first campaign through, seems a little pricey compared to what I paid for the original, but it may well be worth it!

I am running Silent Hunter IV patched 1.5 which is the version with the add-on U boat mission
I have started American career; every thing was working find (exept the radar) untill mission 3 and as I have mentionned in the first post
I can't get back to my base because it's not existing anymore

I was given the command of a class porpoise ; but I can't get the sonar or the radar working ...I can only hunt ships with binoculars :doh: ...getting tired

Go to Fremantle, which is marked as your home base in the screenshot you posted. Surabaya might be a bit hot since the Japs have captured it, or will do so shortly.

ps : About the activation of the radar & the sonar do you have any clue ? because I can't find a way to make them operational

You have to purchase them with renown first.

Surface search radar (SJ) does not become available to you until the middle
of 1942. The surface search radar also uses the a-scope and ppi scope.

The air search radar (SD) does not have a screen. The air search radar only
tells you when an aircraft is close to you.
