Do you have to register to fly on it Hunt?
I'll be up tonight if you guys are heading over there.
Actually talking about servers does anyone else here know if there are any eastern front or pacific theatre servers?
No need to register. However, once you've flown once with one nick, you cant change your nick anymore when flying there. I think it doesnt let you connect with another nick. That's to prevent "cheating" the 3 deaths = 5min ban system and gives real stats with no ability to "reset" them by changing your name.
Be sure to check the rules before going in, they differ from the usual rules that server's use. For example, landing/taking off planes are free game, so is vulching. And turning your lights on to signal you're badly damaged doesnt mean the enemy have to stop shooting.
Also, you will only get kills added to your stats if you make it back to your base or bail out on your territory.
And lastly, the planeset is the same for every mission, late war planes.
As for flying tonight, I'm going in for 2 sorties with JG53 tonight. Starting at ~20GMT and lasting to roughly 22GMT. I'll be most likely coming over to our TS after that.

OK I am on TS with Hunt but he ain't answering.
#War Clouds looks interesting. Is it better than that other server we once flew on?
Ahhh, guys!
The UKD1,2 and 3 servers are the place to be. ;)
I need to differ with Letum (Yes, I know, you fly in UK-DED), but I've flown only maybe 40 sorties in WC and the teamwork is 200% more active there between the pilots than in UKDED. UKDED tends to have good teamwork only between pilots that know eachother, but in WC everyone plays together.
Not saying that UKDED is a bad server, but I think this' a matter of personal taste.
It's not uncommon to see formations of 15+ bombers working together in UKD3.
However, you are right, it tends only to be the guys on TS who organise such things.
Yeh, well I think it's down to personal preference. THe most missions I've flown in WC were in BF110, doing ground attack sorties and most of the times, I had someone there to cover my butt.

Do you use the War Clouds TS sever Dowly>?
I wasn't and didn't see any team work and no one answereing on the il-2 comms. I would try and join up with a guy who I'd just taken off in front of and he'd run away as if I was a baddy.
There is a really decent bunch of chaps on the UKD TS Xabba.
We are usualy on from 6 - 11 UK time.
