LOL, there are some funny things in this game. When I first started, I didn't know anything about it so I was using the free camera a lot to learn what I was hearing related to what was on the surface. A DD was searching for me and DCed just a short ways from me. Well, a lifeboat was rowing by when the charge went off. I think they did two orbits of the moon, came back down, landed upright and rowed away like nothing happened. I think they went looking for the ticket booth to buy another ticket for the DC ride.

To be honest, I had seen it before, and also WernerSobe mentioned it as a side-effect of NSM 3, which I was using back then (and I have a bad habit of reading the RTFMs ;)).

I once let my AA gunners try to shoot down a plane. They succeeded, and the plane came down in one piece quite close to the boat.

Instead of sinking, it bounced up and did a couple of flat spins, then hit the water again and sank.

I once hit a Junk with 2 Mk 14s, the ship didn't even break in half, it just disappeared... I think some poor town on the other side of the planet had a very interesting rain that day...

i deck gunned an elco once in sh3...everything blew off it, it left a blazing oil spill and sunk in 5 sec flat

i also hit a fishing boat in that game as well, same thing
