just purchased the God of war... chains of Olympus.. for psp,Installed (well tried to) 10% through the installation the game locks up and totally screws up the grandsons psp console. long conversation to the sony rep. @ pounds per. min. ''we cant do diddly squat because your warranty ran out one month ago'' arguement on the phone was that it was YOUR software that was installed on YOUR console..but nope as usual sony @ss injected salesmen (people) didnt want to know nothing ...what a bunch of @ss wipes...'''we will replace the console with a reconditioned one'' if you send us 65 pound .no thx i said or words to that effect,Top and bottom of this rant is give SONY a wide berth, its not the first encounter with them..had to pay 25 pound to some shop to sort the problem! ..yea looking @ my nick I'm a god of war fan ...no more!!! Rant over...had to vent somewhere......:nope:

Mate, walk around sony by about 100 miles, the only thing I ever bought of sony was a stereo..and the fecking 3-CD switcher mechanism broke down, also just over warranty.
And its probally the last thing I ever bought of Sony.

Well they just lost a lot of sales through my family..Im not the biggest game nut ! but my grandson is :yep: and a little coaxing, he will learn to undersand that SONY sucks(he's only 13) but he will learn :smug:

he got em all m8..but he's been waiting for this one..so have I ....if the truth be known.. I (cant afford) to buy the consoles for him and me ;)..soo i got the 360 and the ps2 ..he gets the best (so i thought) ..pc's not an option coz he want to play on mine :x

Has the PSP got custom FW on it?;) GOW does not play well with Custom FW.

Also, there is a service called Continuous Play, which for a small £2.99 p/m (for the PSP IIRC) you get an extended warranty.

Orrrr......obviously it's covered under your contents insurance....ahem, cough, cough.

Dont worry, even if it was under warranty sony would not have replaced it, ive gone through numerous broken ps3s and each time sony has refused to honor their own warranty so ive been forced to fork out for a new one!

Not to mention a Sony/Ericsson phone that broke after 2weeks, sony`s response "Yes sir thats covered by our warranty, that`ll be £80 for shipping and paperwork please."
