And to believe that in Slovenia complain because additional medical care (which may not be cheap for the poor, yet still afordable for the great majority of the population) is "expensive". We get EVERYTHING payed. Sure there are queues, but show me a state run hospital the doesn't have queues. But you don't have to pay for medication (most of it), you get treated for anything possible and you can even be sent to another country of the state can't do something, or the queues are too long. If you are rich enough, you can go to a private doctor and he'll take care of you.
Jesus Christ, has America really fallen this low? This is bad. Really bad. Even for America. Healthcare lottery? This is repulsive, or as the woman said
"It's pathetic and repugnant at the same time... [but it's] a necessity because I don't earn thousands each month."

Hell Respenus, don't you know that socialised health care is the work of the devil! :-?
God dam commie bastards! :nope:
The sad thing is, people generally get pretty much the government they deserve.
We are 75 years away from Soylent Green. :ping:

For a moment there I though you were for real. Then I took a moment and I saw where you came from. Then the sarcasm was more than apparent.
That's why Europe is superiour to America. (One of the reasons).

It's an acknowldeged fact that health care costs are out of control in this country and it's also true we've known it for a long time.
However, when your busy prosecuting two wars, fighting illegal immigration, finding out your retiring baby boomers outnumber your new taxpayers (future $$$ problems), struggling with energy issues, facing a presidential election year, and other cr*p, some things just keep getting shoved aside...
So, when we get some of these issues resolved, perhaps we'll see health care legislation that addresses our needs...
The whole world is going to hell.

In America, you're supposed to self reliant, and responsable. Trouble is nobody wants to deal with being that way, as it would take effort.
I'm not for socialist medicine. The government takes enough outta me without sqeezing me more.

HMO's and drug companies have part ownership of most politicians over here and they don't want socialized medical.
