so, anyone have it? I got it yesterday and so far, I'm pleased with it. It brings back some good memories of the old Gran Turismos as it still has a very similar GUI and music. The graphics really are awesome, even on a small CRT, they must be phenominal at full 1080p HD. The only annoying thing I've found with it (apart from there only being 6 tracks, with it being a demo/taster) is that it's a bit of a grind to get anywhere in it. A large number of races in Class C can only be entered with a certain car (which just happens to be a fuxing Suzuki Cappuccino!!!! The worst car I've ever had the misfortune of driving on a game) the fact that I have an Evo IX makes that even more annoying. And the AI isn't brilliant. But the physics, and overall realism of the game are exactly what you'd expect from a GT game, no other game really gets close. So, I reccomend it if you have a bit of cash flying around, and bring on the full game!
Uhm, if you think the GT-series is realistic or simulators, I`m afraid you are wrong. Looks good, though.

looking at some early gameplay footage I have to admit that the physics engine does not impress me at all, but it looks pretty.

I have it on pre order with Amazon it is on the way. But as i have it sent to a BFPO address it will take a little longer than normal to get my hands on it. But with luck i will receive it this week.

The first GT for PS1 was revolutionary, how long ago is that? Must be ten years. I loved it, but today, PC has much better options, although the concept of the GT series still is a good one. It's just that things like GTR2 or rFactor are simply - better.

While I am a huge fan of the GT series, I'll pick Prologue up from the bargain bin, for a couple of reasons:
1) I aint paying £25.99 RRP for a glorified demo. Nope!
2) Because SCEE has shafted us PSN users again. Paying £25.99 for a download that has less content than the BR hard copy, which retailers are selling for around £17.99.
3) Not going to buy the demo at the afforemention price and then buy the full game at £49.99 in 2009. Get real.
4) The download is limited to the main PSN account only, so any other users on the PS3 can't use it.
Other than that, good game.
Just wait, I'll be back here as soon as SCEA release it on their PSN for half the price the EU had to pay.:x :x
