Hello,
How do I change keyboard settings and/or create new settings for command combinations?
Also, I noticed that in GWX pressing enter to fire a torpedo isn't working anymore, how do I restore that? I'd like to be able to keep moving my periscope with my mouse while waiting for just the fight moment to press enter <LOS!>

I believe that was changed to keep from accidentally firing a torpedo when using the num-pad + and - keys for time compression. It was very easy to accidentally hit enter instead of the + key.

IIRC, you can fire a torpedo by pressing control-enter.

Search the forum and get a hold of a program called SH3 SetKeys.exe. If you can't find it, I'll up load it to my filefront page for you.

SH# Setkeys will allow you to map any command to any key you want. I have my keys all changed around form the stock game.

You can find it here: http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches2005_sh3.html
plus a myriad of other great mods/tools.

Thanks guys!

I just found out that my PC is having a hard time running GWX (it's old... Celeron 2.8+1G RAM+Radeon 9800 Pro...). I'm so frustrated... I'll have to wait until I buy a new one to fully enjoy GWX.

You might still be able to play GWX if you can double the ram, and then run the light traffic mod. Video card isn't the greatest, but have seen ppl successfully run it with less.

try a quick fix ctrl=alt-del then in running proccesses stop explorer this will free up a load of resources. run gwx by going file-run then browse to where gwx is. better still find the free prog fs start this lets you stop a load of proccesses and defrags your RAM then runs your prog in a big empty space. If this does help then you know you need more ram.

gwx seems to run fine but as kurtz says i remove all running processes first.....then right click on sh3 and set priority to high:up:
