1) I would think anyone who actually loves submarines and Das Boot would own a copy. I own four myself.

2) If you've seen the Original, Uncut version (5-hours) the Director's Cut is no longer worth it.

3) Is putting up a still-in-print, for-sale movie on You Tube legal?

Just buy the movie. I think most of the uboot lovers here on subsim own a dvd of Das Boot.

Like me I own 2 different copy's with subtitles. Only I turn them of because the dutch translation sucks.
