The one thing that McCain, Obama, and Clinton have in common is that they are all lying POS politicians.

They will all say what they think will garner the most support for their agendas. That's what politicians do.

We know they lie, they know we know they lie.

The problem is that you can't succeed as a politician at that level without lying to some group at some time.

It is sad that our own political system fosters the attributes we so despise. :nope:

An honest politicial is an oxymoron, so wheter you like it or not it is allways a chosie between two or more evils and you have to choose the lesser one.

They're all liars. It's no secret. There's not a single politician on Capitol Hill that isn't a liar.

Steed,

Just so I understand your position

Are you against any woman as president or are you just against "that" woman as president? There is a big difference.

One opinion I can accept, the other, I despise.

What we don't need is

Bush
Clinton
Bush
Clinton

Thats the kind of rut, i would think we need to avoid.

edit: Hell, Hillary being elected, its really more like her 2nd term. She took on a bit more then she should have as first lady, which to me, shows how power hungry she is. More reason why she should NOT be elected.

I don't feel like seeing what another Clinton can do with a cigar either. :nope:

Funny that Ducimus, that's exactly the way I felt about Margaret Thatcher...

Also, though the US elections get a lot of coverage over this side of the pond, I don't ever see any of the candidates talking about policies. In the UK, even when they're running for party leader or something, they say (however untruthfully), we'll put X millions into the health service, or we'll curb immigration or whatever. Maybe it's just bad reporting, but all I've heard Clinton/McCain/Obama say are things like 'it's time for change' or 'trust me, I know what I'm doing'. Stuff like that. Do they get on to the nitty gritty when the primaries are over and the presidential election begins in earnest or do they carry on with that stuff and when one of them gets to The White House suddenly everyone gets to find out what their policies are?:hmm:

In a March 17 speech in Washington, Clinton said of the Bosnia trip: "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

Reminded that she had said it was the first time she had misspoken in 12 years, Clinton told reporters: "I was joking. Lighten up, guys."

Yeah.. a joke... does anyone find it funny ? :nope:

Thank the maker I'm supporting Obama.
