ASW detetion range

Hi Kaleuns,

I currently play the GWX2.0 in 16k atmosphere mode. Does that mean that the range that DD can spot me not matter by eyes ball or ASDC or Radar is also doubled? now the DD can detect me by radar from about 5-6km. If I change to 8k mode will the range be reduced to 2-3km? :rock:

Hi!

AI detection ranges remain the same when switching between 8km and 16km visibility. The game engine tracks all objects, regardless of the range; the only difference between 8km and 16km is the range from your U-boat at which objects are rendered in 3D.
