This made me spit my coffee all over my monitor and then fall over with my chair while laughing, so you have been warned. For those of you who dont know, Expelled is a "documentary" from ID proponents.

I asked why, of course, and he said that a producer of the film had specifically instructed him that I was not to be allowed to attend. The officer also told me that if I tried to go in, I would be arrested. I assured him that I wasn't going to cause any trouble.

I went back to my family and talked with them for a while, and then the officer came back with a theater manager, and I was told that not only wasn't I allowed in, but I had to leave the premises immediately. Like right that instant.

They singled me out and evicted me, but they didn't notice my guest. They let him go in escorted by my wife and daughter. I guess they didn't recognize him. My guest was …

Richard Dawkins.

He's in the theater right now, watching their movie.

Heh, the guy is PZ Myers, another biologist interviewed for this movie under false pretenses, I think its clear from his blog post that the laughter induced from this enormous load of fail and irony was payment ennough. Anyway here is a bit more about the Expelled issue by him.

Anyway here is something a poster from another forum had to say about this, and i think it sums it up perfectly is as few words as possible
First it is funny to expel someone from a movie called "Expelled!". Second, both Myers and Dawkins are extremely well known for criticizing creationists. If you are going to expel one, you shouldn't let the other one in.Trying to ban people who can find errors in the movie is bad enough, being seen to be incompetent even at that is worse.

I know Dawkins, I even read his latest books recently, but PZ Myers is a no-namer for me.

Can't know them all!

There is an upcoming 90 minute video of Dawkins having a conversation with Myers discussing event, probably contains the movie review aswell, as can be heard from this short clip. Comes off as being a bit too smug for my taste, but then again, it would be hard not to be smug under theses circumstances.
