Some persons "sneaked a peek" at HC's, OB's and JMc's passports...

Bill Burton, a spokesman for Mr Obama's campaign, denounced "an outrageous breach of security and privacy", and called for a full investigation.
What a sniveler! If this had happened to anyone else other than Clinton, Obama or McCain, it wouldn't even had made the news.

Well, to tell the truth, I'm not sure... Passport info is supposed to be "private" I think. I guess this little infraction is always good for media spin...;)
It's laughable really. We're so preoccupied with "terrorists" outside the US that we leave gaping holes in our own internal security...
I feel safer every day...

August would say: "Well, if you haven't been to China dozens of time, you have nothing to fear".
Fine by me. Politicians aren't people. They aren't even human. They're politicians. And so they don't have private lives. Human people who want private lives don't run for political offices. They just live a private life.
It should be law that candidates reveal their travel records. These people are not even generic candidates: they want the presidency. And as presidents they would play one of the biggest roles in foreign relations and diplomacy. And as such, knowing where they've been to is vital information.

"It should be law" - fair enough, but shouldn't we wait until it is law, and not break current regulations?
Fuss over nothing I don't know.

Hey c'mon... It's an Election Year! These people can't even have a bad bowel movement without the media putting a camera up their as*...
The only blessing in this insipid situation is that all 3 candidates got their junk looked at. So, Obama can't cry "race", Clinton can't claim "sexual discrimination" and McCain can't claim, er, well, ... viagra! ;)

The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.
Can't wait to see the fallout on this... BO is sure getting himself in hot water. First the minister of his church thing and now this guy... ;)
