Help with Difficulty Settings

Does any submariner out there know how to have custom difficulty settings in a Career? The Career difficulty settings seems to have just Easy/Normal/Hard whereas the Gameplay Options allows you to specify indivdual parameters but they don't seem to to apply to Careers.

I am on 1.4 with RSRD V350 for 1.4.

In port when in your office there is a filing cabinet that will have options. From here you can change audio, graphic and custom difficulty settings.
